I was much luckier, probably because it was so much longer ago and I can't remember the photographing thing happening - obviously before they went spammy and before email was invented - yes, there was such a time.
I only remember coo-ing at my 'oh-so-beautiful' baby (actually she had stalk marks like you wouldn't believe so the reassurance was a relief) ...and the freebies, which were very good. Today it sounds as though it's a bit hit and miss depending on the person. I wonder if they're now on some sort of commission?
Hopefully now at least they will tidy up their act.Claire Hhttps://twitter.com/actingthepartynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9084563796070210911.post-30031040188094450662013-01-14T20:51:39.090+00:002013-01-14T20:51:39.090+00:00Thanks! :) So interesting hearing about other coun...Thanks! :) So interesting hearing about other countries' traditions. None of the classic tales though - is that what you're after specifically?
I blogged a little while ago about Struwelpeter which is a brilliant but fairly disturbing compendium of scarytales http://littlemagicbeans.blogspot.co.uk/2012/06/fairytales-vs-scarytales.html
If I think of any more I'll let you know... I’m looking for children books with “scary” animal illustrations like the big bad wolf (or a fox) eating pigs (or seven kids or Red Riding hood or birds in Chicken Little) or being pictured with a fat stomach. Could be any other animal as well. I need it for my research I'm doing. Have you seen any book of this sort? Any sort of help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Great blog, by the way!

nellyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9084563796070210911.post-24754624957660027282012-10-20T09:56:40.983+01:002012-10-20T09:56:40.983+01:00Thanks City Girl! I have a constant battle with her about which ones she is going to wear each day, I don't remember ever being interested in shoes until I was like 14yo, they are growing up in such a different generation, she has 8 pairs for this coming Autumn/Winter! Although I would like to point at that half of those are hand me downs for her cousin and two pairs were gifts, but still I'm sure I only had like one maybe two pairs when I was a toddler!
